Endangered Species Permitting & Conservation

Landowners and developers walk a fine line between land development rights and the need to conserve wild lands for native species. At Common Ground Ecology, we help landowners and developers to navigate the permitting process in a way that benefits all. We perform property assessments, wildlife surveys, and land cover mapping in order to comply with regulations and address regulatory issues. Where needed, we act as a liaison to government agencies, and manage relocation projects that protect wildlife and allow for reasonable land development. The species we focus these service for are include: Gopher Tortoise; Sand Skinks; Florida Scrub-Jay; Eastern Indigo Snake; Bonneted Bat; Wood Stork; Red-cockaded Woodpecker; and Crested Caracara.
