Management Planning

Many of Florida's ecosystems require fire in order to maintain a healthy balance between native flora and fauna. As development continues to occur, managing fire dependent ecosystems has become more critical not only for the health of those ecosystems, but also to prevent the spread of wildfire to nearby communities. At Common Ground Ecology, our on staff prescribed burn managers and fire ecologists work with landowners, FWC, and the Florida Forest Service to conduct and manage prescribed fires.
